The Victory Lakes Swim Club Inc. (VLSCI) is dedicated to the emotional and physical growth of its swimmers and to the morale of the community in which they live. The coaches, the parents, and all involved in VLSCI will strive to make swimming a fun experience. At the same time, they will foster in both parents and swimmers alike, the benefits of hard work and sacrifice, the traits of good sportsmanship, the value of self discipline, the seeds and fruits of leadership, the exhilaration of competitive zeal, and the joy of community spirit.
Registration for the Summer 2013 season is now closed. All new to the team 8 & under swimmers will be sent an email invitation to new swimmer evaluations on May 19th at the Freedom Center beginning at 4:30.
Guppy Registration will begin May 1st. The program runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday beginning June 24th through July 18th (no swim on July 4.) There are two sessions 10:45-11:15 and 11:15-11:45. Evaluations for the program will take place at 5:00 @ the Freedom Center on May 19th or at 4:30 @ the VL pool on June 3rd. The cost of the program is $90. There will be a guppy swim meet at the VL pool on July 16th.
The guppy program is for swimmers who:
~ Can swim 5 meters unassisted
~ Are at least age 5 by September 30, 2013 (No exceptions!)
~ Can separate from the parent
~ Are interested in becoming a Piranha some day!
