Welcome to the 2025 Victory Lakes Piranhas Swim Team.

The Victory Lakes summer swim team is a competitive team within the Prince William Swim League.

Eligibility requirements for summer swim:

1. Swimmers must be between the ages of 5 and 18 years old as of June 1st of the current season
2. Able to swim 1 length of the pool (25 meters) unassisted
3. Able to regularly attend practice
4. Must also have an adult who will fulfill volunteer obligations at every meet.

Info for Guppies: The Victory Lakes Piranhas offer a developmental swim program. The Guppies practice Monday - Thursday from 9:45am -10:30am. Practices start June 15th and run through July 16th.

Registration includes a t-shirt and participation in a Guppy mini-meet at the end of the season. 

This program is for swimmers who:

1. Are Victory Lakes Residents (non-residents will be accepted if there is space available)
2. Can swim 5 meters unassisted (does not have to be an identifiable stroke).
3. Are at least age 4 by June 1 of the current season

To ensure your swimmer is a good fit for our program, Guppies will be evaluated during the first week of practice. The program is NOT designed to replace beginner swim lessons. If the coaching staff deems during evaluations that a swimmer is not ready for the Guppy program, refunds will be reviewed up to the full amount.

If space is available, swimmers older than seven (7) years of age in the current swim year at the time of registration may participate with VLSC BOD and coach approval.

Guppy swimmers do not participate in our weekly summer swim meets but will have an inter-squad "mini-meet" at the end of the season. This meet is run with the help of members of the Piranhas Swim Team and is very similar to a regular team meet. The events include freestyle, backstroke, kickboard and fun relays.

Early bird pricing before April 10th will be $185.00 for Piranhas and Guppies. After April 10th the price increases to $200.00. Use the coupon codes below to receive the early bird price. Coupon codes correspond to the number of swimmers you are registering. PLEASE make sure you are using the correct code! 

For 1 swimmer: EB1K26

Families registering three or more swimmers will receive a discount which increases with the number of siblings within one family.

We expect to fill registration and ask that you register as soon as possible to ensure your participation in the 2026 season. Registration will be by age group. Each age group has a pre-set capped amount. Once the capped amount has been reached for a particular age group, that group will be closed for registration. Families will be able to sign-up for a wait list for that group and will be contacted as registrations are processed.

Registration for Piranhas includes a team t-shirt, a Piranha silicone swim cap, membership in PWSL, insurance, and coaching for nine weeks of practice, one trial meet, six dual meets, one championship meet and a participation award.

Please double check your swimmer's T-shirt size. We will not be able to swap sizes after the order has been placed.

In addition to registering for the team, swimmers will be expected to have a team suit for the 2026 season. This summer the team will wear black swimsuits or jammers of your choice. Wearing a team suit and a team cap are required for meets. More details to come regarding possibly adding a logo to the suits.

Competitive Team May 26th - June 11th, 2026 (through last week of school - no practice on June 12th)

*NOTE: There are NO Friday practices while school is in session.

Competitive Team June 15th - July 24th, 2026

(Please arrive 10 minutes prior to practice start time for attendance, preparation, etc.)

VL Piranhas follows the pools policy regarding supervision. Please do not leave swimmers unattended who are 11 years old and younger. Thank you.
